Claire Bouleau is a journalist and photographic artist, Born in Paris France, she is currently living in Washington DC.
A strong narrative structure and sense of story telling runs through all her work, following two decades working in TV journalism and a passion for good design.
Her work focuses primarily on landscape and humankind's relationship with the natural world. She has created a body of images valuing the rhythm of natural beauty, beyond the immediate visible.
Textures, feelings, moods are conveyed through mundane objects, persons or a
simple palette of colors. Subtle emotions are growing visually.
Her vision can be dreamy or painterly, inviting the observer to put his own imprint. The obvious being sometimes hidden, the hidden sometimes facing you composed as a familiar melody.
